• Need to know that SharePoint version running on your servers?

There are times, when we, as developers, may have several different iterations of SharePoint installations floating around. Maybe we have a staging installation, development installation, and finally a production installation (which may or may not be administered by us ;). • Firefox Version 3.0 is released today

Firefox 3.0 official release is today but it seems that the Mozilla site is having problems since i cannot download any add-ons for FF 3.0. :( I guess the world record for most downloads in a day is gonna have some problems. If you think about it, they have 64bit... [Read More]

For those who read my last post you know that the guys over at bamboo solutions created an excellent package that lets you install WSS on vista. Well my first install of WSS on vista went so well I decided I would get Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 installed on vista. Try #1. 1. Downloaded an ISO of SharePoint 2007 and mounted it with daemon tools. 2. Ran my version of bamboo’s WssVista.Install program and selected the setup.exe file of the mounted ISO. 3. ERROR: Cannot install MOSS 2007 on Windows 2008/Vista without SP1. DAMN! See screen shot. This is... [Read More]
